Come and admire the pictoresque Albayzin, the old Moorish quarter which was declared a World Heritage site in 1994. Feel the charm of an area which presents the same infrastucture as it did in the Moslem period: hidden corners, winding narrow streets, Moorish houses (Cármenes), minarets, bath houses (Hammams). You will have the chance to visit the Casa de Zafra, a still standing 600 years olg arab house in which you will learn about the history of the Albayzin Quarter of Granada.

As well, visiting with us the interior of the Old Hamman, you’ll flavour the tradition of the Moorish World. It is from the Albayzin where you can capture some of the most spectacular views onto the Alhambra,from various viewpoints. A walk along the Carrera del Darro will inmerse you in the hassle of this side of the town.

The contrast between the Moslem past and the Christian present is more evident in the Historical Centre. The tour takes you to the central Bib?Rambla Square, considered the heart of the town, which is located nearby the ensemble of the Cathedral and Royal Chapel. Opposite to the Chapel you’ll visit the interior of the Madrasa, considered the muslim medieval University. Inside it, you will be able to see the original decorations of the former oratory, still today in a magnificent conservation stage. Following to it, we will come into numerous alleys of the old silk market (Alcaicería ), where traders chat and sell local craft in a distinctive Moorish setting.

Close to this market place, we come inside the Corral del Carbón, used 600 years ago as a type of warehouse for merchandise and also as a shelter for merchants.
