8º Aniversario Happy Mondays. Domingo 8 De Octubre Agora Club

When Happy Mondays began its journey in 2009, those were barren years, mainly insignificant if we consider the impeccable trajectory of a city that was the paradigm of a solid club scene. Relegated to Sunday, as a rare avis, Happy Mondays, whose name was due not so much to casualties as to causality, assumed a multiple function: keep up the inherent relationship of the Valencian spirit with music, continue the valuation of the artisan DJ, away of extrafuls and extra-musical aspects, and to reunite an audience that was out of place, with a slight sense of orphanhood. Although it had in its origins a predominant inclination towards techno and tangential genres, it gradually took the variety as a reference, and became the meeting point of a huge number of local and national DJs who found the ideal framework to develop their proposals. Happy Mondays transcended the concrete space to humbly reach the status of independent institution, with a life of its own.

This is the confirmation of the heterogeneity that has been embraced progressively - techno, electro, house, IDM, hardcore, trance, disco, funk, new wave, EBM and whatever. genre or style that fit in the suitcase of the turn catalyst, thanks to the presence of eleven DJs with different visions of electronic music, understanding this as a mobile label. As well as all of them are represented the different stages of Happy Mondays, and although many are missing and very important, the poster also serves to illustrate its history.
