The Experience
Experience the rush of a tandem skydive in Nottinghamshire.
This is your chance to take on one of the most exhilarating challenges imaginable. Your day begins with a short pre-jump briefing that covers the essentials. You’ll learn the body positions for exiting the aircraft, during freefall and for landing. Once fitted with your equipment, you’ll be harnessed to your instructor and make your way to the plane.
The flight to altitude takes around 15 minutes. At 14,000ft the door opens and the jump begins. Attached to your instructor, you’ll freefall for up to 50 seconds, reaching speeds of around 120mph.
At 5,000ft, the parachute is deployed, slowing your descent. You’ll then enjoy around five minutes under canopy, with time to take in the countryside views.
With your instructor in full control, you are free to enjoy every moment. From the adrenaline rush of freefall to the calm glide back to earth, it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

Vital Information
- Age – The minimum age for a tandem skydive in the UK is 16. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must also sign the forms.
- Weight – The maximum weight is 15 stone (95kg), or 13 stone (83kg) if you are under 163cm tall. These limits are strict for safety reasons.
- Health – All participants must complete medical form 115A. If you cannot self-declare, form 115B must be signed and stamped by a doctor.

The Weather
British Skydiving regulations require us to operate within strict limits for cloud cover and wind speeds. If the weather is unsuitable, you will be able to re-schedule your booking. We recommend calling the day before your jump so we can confirm the forecast with you.
Session Length
The training for the tandem jump is in the form of a briefing from your instructor which takes about half an hour. The whole experience from take off to landing is about 25 minutes. You will experience 40-50 seconds in freefall and you will have approximately 5 minutes under the parachute. Please allow the whole day for this experience.
Numbers
This voucher entitles one person for a Tandem Skydive. Your friends can come along but you can also book them in and share the experience with them!
Spectators
Friends and family can enjoy a spacious spectator area with picnic benches, perfectly placed to watch the skydive. An onsite café is also available, serving food and drinks.
What To Wear
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. On colder days, dress warmly and bring gloves.
Availability
When booking a tandem skydive, you select a date and time that suits you, and this is when you should arrive at the airfield. Your jump will take place after check-in and a safety briefing. The booked slot is your arrival time, not the exact jump time. In most cases, you’ll be in the air within an hour of arrival, weather permitting.
