First day:

• a guide will meet you at the airport for your private transfer to your hotel in the South Zone
• enjoy some free time to explore the surrounding areas, try some typical food and enjoy the famous nightlife in Rio

Second day:

• do a full day tour of Rio de Janeiro, starting with a panoramic city tour of downtown Rio with a stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral
• see Sugarloaf sitting on Guanabara Bay from where you can see the spectacular views from the city and across the bay
• have a lunch at a traditional Brazilian barbecue and taste unlimited slices of juicy meat, with several different options of salad and sides
• go to the train station beneath Corcovado Mountain from where you will go a 20 minute train ride through the Tijuca rainforest to get to the top
• see the Christ statue from up close, with its open arms above the city
• enjoy private transportation back to your hotel and then you are off to finish your trip with a transfer to the airport
