The Oasis City of Al Ain is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It is the first city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to make this famous list.

Today, Al Ain is also called the Garden City and even has its own university. From Dubai you will drive through a spectacular desert landscape. Visit the archeological site of Hili, whose beginnings date back about 5000 years. Together with your tour guide, you will drive past the Jahili Fort to the Palace Museum of Al Ain. The palace was, from 1927 to the early 70s, the residence of the late ruler Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Here, you will see some very interesting exhibits, including a collection of family portraits, insight into the private and social life of the family of the 'Emir'. Then set your trip to Al Ain Museum next to the ancient citadel fort and take a short walk through an oasis to understand its historic irrigation system, the Falaj. After lunch (optional) and before returning to Dubai, you will have the unique opportunity to see a traditional camel market.
