Description

This is a great tour to get a peak into the daily life of Argentinean ranches and gauchos. To give you a little background on the gauchos, a gaucho is an Argentinean cowboy who is usually a mix of Native American and Spanish Ancestry. This tour will begin with a warm, friendly and tasty welcome at the reception area. Here you will be greeted with the delicious empanadas wine or juice and have the chance to get to know the others that are on the tour with you.

After finishing up the tasty treat and socializing you will have free time to look around the ranch. There are a number of options that you can do! You can go for a wondrous horseback ride, feed your senses by checking out the bakery and gain more insight on the area by visiting the museum on the grounds. Then, after you have spent time checking out the ranch there will be a parilla for lunch, which is an Argentinean barbeque! At lunch you will also be able to see dancers and singers that showcase traditional dancing and singing of the area.

Your tour will wrap up on a sweet note before returning to Buenos Aires. You will have the opportunity to try the national Argentinean drink known as mate and have a variety of delightful desserts to try. Don Silvano’s Ranch has only been open to the public for the past 8 years and is an event that should be taken advantage of to have a full cultural picture of Argentina.
