You'll start the tour by viewing the church where Diego Armando Maradona got married to his ex-wife in 1989.
Next, you'll visit the southern neighborhoods and your first stop will be the mythical Boca Juniors stadium: La Bombonera. With a simple glance at the surrounding area you will notice that the passion for football is everywhere. Inside Boca Juniors’ stadium you will visit the preferential seats, the "popular" terrace that holds the mythical "12" (the player number 12), local changing room (that dates from 1978) and you will finish in a stand, from where you will see Diego Maradona’s private box.
Next you will visit the Museo de la Pasión Boquense (Boca’s Museum) and see all of the players that ever played for the club. You will learn about the history and evolution of the jersey and visit the trophy room. You will also see a film that will show you how it feels to be a Boca player when he goes out to the pitch.
Later you will hear the story of the "12" whih was mentioned above and you will see the jerseys of two of the most important football players in the world who have played in that stadium. After the visit to the museum, you will have some free time to visit the shop and eat lunch (not included).
The second part of the afternoon will continue in the north of the city. You will visit the location where the second River Plate Stadium was relocated after leaving La Boca, the neighborhood where both of them were born.
After that you'll be going to El Monumental in the Belgrano district. There you will take a sightseeing walk around the stadium and see the "River Neighborhood", the Federal Shooting Range, the access gates and Rivermanía (the official licensed products shop).
Later, you will enter the Museo River Plate, where you will learn about the history of the club, its stars and most important titles. Then visit the Modulo de Traslación Temporal, a kind of time machine that will take you to the year of the foundation of the club.
Visit the stadium that seems more like a social club than a football club. The facilities you will see there include: the 10 tennis courts, training field, olympic swimming-pool and the hotel for students and minor leagues. Inside the stadium: the cafe (the meeting point of the club), press conference room, trophy hall, presidential box, preferential seats, volleyball and basketball micro-stadiums, educative institute and most importantly, the pitch.
After 6 hours full of football fun, you'll return to the meeting point.
