The Experience

Experience the challenge of archery with this one-hour lesson in Bedfordshire.

Your session begins with a short introduction from a qualified instructor who will explain how to hold the bow, draw the string, and release the arrow safely. You’ll then take your place on the 30ft range, using an 18lb bow to send arrows down toward the target.

At first, it’s common for arrows to miss the centre, but as you adjust your technique you’ll start to see steady progress. Each shot brings the chance to refine your focus, improve your balance, and build consistency. The rhythm of drawing and releasing soon becomes part of the enjoyment, adding to the sense of concentration and calm.

With plenty of arrows provided, you’ll have time to practise at your own pace while receiving guidance and encouragement from your instructor. The experience is structured to be welcoming for complete beginners and rewarding for those returning to the sport.

Session Length

This archery lesson will last for one hour. 

Numbers

Your voucher is valid for one person. You may share this experience with other participants and most groups contain at least four people.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome.

What To Wear

Wear comfortable and suitable outdoor clothing depending on the time of the year.
